Miss You So Much feat. Miira I wrote this song about the feelings I had when I had just turned 40. I had several versions earlier with a vocaloid singing, but now finally in this version a real singer, Miira. I had thought that the Vocaloid Avanna version was quite good and couldn't be much improved with a real singer, but I was totally wrong. Miira's soulful voice fits perfectly this song, her interpretation captures the mood and the harmonies she created are marvelous. I'm really glad I have found her to sing my songs. And of course Band-in-a-box has been the best possible tool to express the musical vision I had in my mind years ago. RealDrums: JazzFunkGroovin^1 RealTracks: Electric Bass #1536 Synth Pad #1543 Electric Piano #1639 Electric guitar #1537, #1538, #1637, #1638 String Quartet #2335 MIDI: Orchestral Hit (?.sty), solo melody (I might have used Melodist #83 in one part) Vocals: Miira Mixed in Adobe Audition 2017. Lyrics: I should not have let the light shine in I shouldn't have run to the whirlwind. I should have stayed inside under the quilt shut the door of the home we never built tell me why dreams die. Miss you so much cannot handle this feeling storm is breaking restlessly sleeping where is the knight who rides the wildest horse? I shouldn't have eaten fruits forbidden shouldn't have freed waters deeply hidden I should have emptied my drifting mind repressed desires closed bedroom blind tell me why springs dry. This is simply exceptional - I love everything about this song.
Amazing chord sequence and melody, plus Miira's voice is just perfect for this track.
The arrangement screams out "PROFESSIONAL" at every level and the mix is spot-on.
Finally, the lyrics are inspired. How do you manage to write prose as good as this when English doesn't appear to be your first language!
This is one song which I'm definitely going to play over and over.

What a pleasant presentation.
Great from start to finish, with the build throughout the strings parts working so well to enhance the song.
Enjoyed every part. The vocals are superb.
