Song I wrote back in 1979...BiaB gave me a step up in the band department.
It sure helps to have Brent Mason play along

I added a B3 from my Tyros 5 and some ragged vocals

Todays the Day
words and music: Dan Simmons
There's a time to be born...and a time to die
There's a time to stand up...and a time to stand by
But today is the day....today is the day...of the Lord

There's a time to sow...and a time to reap
A time to laugh...and a time to weep
But today is the day...of Lord's salvation
And now is the time...to turn...turn...turn

Time won't stand still for you or for me
Today maybe ours but tomorrow will never be
Today is the day....today is the day...of the Lord

And His sweet salvation
And now is the time...to turn...turn...turn
(instrumental)
Today is the day of Lord's salvation
And now is the time...to turn...turn...turn
(instrumental)
Today is the day....today is the day...of the Lord
Today is the day....today is the day...of the Lord

Firesong, this is absolutely fantastic.

Everything about this one is perfect, i.e. great backing tracks, super vocals and harmonies and message.

You should be very proud of this one.

Two thumbs up.

I'll bet that song has some Byrds influence in it somewhere....

Turn turn turn....

Sounded pretty good to me.

That was exactly my thought!! Nicely done. Brent takes everything up a notch, doesn't he? I would dial the verb down a bit. Very nice song!! Take care. Greg

Exactly my thoughts.

I did have one thought about the production. In the arrangement, I felt there was room for an acoustic guitar to stand out front in the song's mellow parts. Personal preference thought that passed through my mind while listening. This is still a great production . Enjoyed my listen.
