Bob, so good!

I know I can’t keep the night from fading
Or hold on to the light we knew
But I can dream beside you now
Blue moon you

love the mood and tone this sets up so nicely,

and the harmonies made it powerful

Bob,

I really like this crisp arrangement. Very compelling pop. Just moves you right along, simple but highly effective and evocative lyrics--seems to be your style.

Excellent production as always. One of my favorites. Tight man.

David covered all the bases on this one.

Very catchy. Solid write. Good band and mix. Nice, subtle harmony...

A good listen, as always, Bob...

Robert,

This one in particular has a very nice and balanced sound.
One of your best I think!

Bob, I really like the lyrics in this one. I read them last night because I wasn't somewhere where I could listen and tried to imagine your take on them musically. I was way off. And it turns out I like your version much better than my imagined one. Enjoyed much. Tom

HI Bob,

A real cool song. At 70 years of age, I can associate with the lyrics. I particularly liked:

There was no sound of the rain
I wasn’t going insane
It was the drumming of my heart
It was a brilliant display
Before the sun came our way
And hung in the sky like art

The song is, as someone already said, crisp and it keeps moving moving along very smoothly. You have a special way with lyrics, my friend! We enjoyed your song a lot. Best to you,

Alan & Di

A new favorite for me. Great emotion in your vocals that really worked for me in this song. Solid write, mix and arrangement. You made good choices of instruments.

Enjoyed my listen.

"The mysterious light
Makes its way every night
Covers you from the sky
I could tell by the dawn
It was a snowy morn
But the years they roll on by"

Man, do they ever roll on by. Something we often reflect upon and thanks for stating it so eloquently.

As we've come to expect but not take for granted this is the total rsdean package. Your signature vocals surrounded by a fine write and production.

Thanks for sharing, we enjoyed it very much, and it will make a cool addition to our SC playlist.

A mysterious light
Cut a hole in the night
Fell while you counted sheep
I could tell by the skies
It was the moon in your eyes
You were fast asleep

Great opening lyric Bob!! And it doesn't ever go downhill from there. Such nice imagery. Love the fingerpicked guitar there. Great stuff Bob!! Take care. Greg
