This tune may resonate with some who have had a loved my go missing for some years.
Its totally a fictional write.
Used harmonies through out, not sure if it overpowers the tune.
Anyway you be the judge.
All comments welcome.

Why Don't You Come Home

Why don't you come home where your well know and you belong.
The seasons been rough the season been long.

Why don't you come where your kin is waiting or you with their arm open wide.
Why don't you come home its cold out side we'll welcome you home.

......................................................................................................
Youve been gone such a very long time and its great to have you here.
We have your picture on the wall but faded through the years.
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

We waited so long for you, thought we'd never see this day.
So full of anticipation through clouds of silver and grey.
The rel be a crowd of smiley faces and be no lack of tears.
Why dont you come home its cold out side we'll welcome you home.

Rob,

Very cool song. Good mix and vocals. I could almost hear a hint of the Kingston Trio in this one. Great job.

Rob,

You've sure pulled out a few dozen stops in writing and creating this one. It's a credit to you! I really enjoyed listening.... nice and catchy rhythm and very memorable melody. Without any hesitation at all, it's two thumbs up from me!

All the best,
Noel

Well done, Rob. As Bob mentioned, has that classic Kingston Trio sound.

Good job on the harmonies.

Every part of this is a winner Rob

The harmonies have given the delivery depth and dimension.

Sensational effort.

Wicked tune, Rob smile It reminds me of Beach Boys, which in my books is never a bad thing! This one really resonates with me.

Great harmonies, great arrangement, and a great mix. Thanks so much for sharing!

Kingston Trio, Beach Boys...dunno. We're hearing a mellow Elvis swing. And we like that!

The harmonies sound in the pocket and work for us.

As Tom said it is "catchy and memorable."

Nice one Rob!
