Fall Apart

https://soundcloud.com/davidsnyderchannel/fall-apart

By David Snyder

V1

When you’re gone
I wish that you were here
I want to hold you near
And I dream about your face

And when you’re here
I dream about the world
And what it could be girl
If we could find our place

Pre-Chorus:

And I know
That love is just a word
That’s said but seldom heard
But I sing it anyway

CH

And what if no one is to blame
And what if we could make a brand new start
Then nothing in this world, nothing
Could make us fall apart

V2

When I dream
You’re holding out your hands
Running on the sand
Towards a better day

And when I wake
I pray for second sight
And I hope I'll see a light
That will help me find my way

Pre Chorus x 2

Chorus 2:

And what if no one is to blame
And what if we could love with all our hearts
Then nothing in this world, nothing
Could make us fall apart

Nothing in this world
Nothing in this world
Nothing in this world
Nothing in this world
Nothing in this world
Could make us fall apart

Cool tune David. Very neat backtrack. You have some very cool stuff going on their. Acoustic during the intro got my attention right away. Super vocal and lyric. Harmonies were super as well....

David, This is another well written tune. Very good sounding mix. I really loved the pre-chorus. For me that made the song. Enjoyed, Tom

David.

This. Is. EXCELLENT.

An excellent Pop Rock write. Catchy start to finish (not an easy task). The build (as Tom mentioned) is outstanding - then the chorus keeps it going and doesn't let up. Verses hold the ear, too. And a nice lyric that holds up throughout...

The BAND is well put together. The perfect energy. Excellent vocal to go with that.

One of your very best. A hit.

Hi David,

So much energy!!! This is high octane songwriting and song-performing! Definitely one to be proud of. I really like the rhyme schemes you've used. They work perfectly and drive the lyrics powerfully!

It's definitely thumbs up from me... two to them!

All the best,
Noel

David,
A great groove and a fine message. Should be featured at raves across the world. The highlight for me is the energy you bring... and that note you hit on the chorus. Very well done.

Wow David - I thoroughly enjoyed this! The song itself is incredible, but the lyrics behind bring it to a whole different level. The vocal delivery is superb!

Great job, and thanks so much for sharing smile

Deryk

Nice. This has a great vibe from start to finish. It's a good fit for today's pop sound.

David

As noted "energetic" seems to be a very good descriptor for this catchy song.
Nicely produced and written.

Hi David,

Well upon first listen we thought this song would be a very nice and tranquilizing one. Until... you started singing with your usual high-energy!
Which was also cool ;-)
Needless to say that this was another winner!

Thanks Robert! Raves across the world!!! That would be nice!!!

Say a prayer!!

smile

That high note in the chorus note was a high F# falsetto, over top of a D then D7sus.

Not quite sure how I hit that but I have been noticing this very odd coincidence that the more you practice, the more your vocals chords stretch out.

Hmmmmm.

I got to a high G# (non falsetto) on the third chorus after the key change in Take Me Along. Only one more half step and I will be able to say I have the tenor range covered.

But, it will be a long half step. I start to crack at G#.

Maybe next year.

David, this one puts me in mind of some early eighties Springsteen. Nice little subtle background touches here and there. Great overall feel! Thanks, T
