You had to know I would really like this one. Sounds a lot like Ken Navarro sitting in at the local lounge. It also has influences of Herb Ellis. Love the "live" opening! I like it a bunch ... a big bunch!!!

Thanks Alan, David and Scott for the listen. BTW, ken Navarro, I wasn't thinking on him but yes, one of my favorite smooth/fusion jazz guitar players.

Nice arrangement and chords.
I'm a bit of a philistine when it comes to solos though - - if it goes beyond 16 bars without making solid & frequent reference to a melody I can hold onto I get lost.

Nicely done. Part of me wanted to keep hearing the crowd at a low level throughout, and part of me wished there was a crowd volume control in live performances  Thanks for sharing. James

Thanks Ray and James for the comments. I have done the "live audience" thru out before and even at a low volume sometimes it distracts from the actual performance, so I try to limit it to the beginning to set the mood and at the end.
I'm glad you all enjoyed it.

Hello Mike,
What a nice idea to start with the sound of that lounge. Immediately you're caught and sitting in the middle of it. Listening relaxed to the band and that marvellous soloist, but also the bass-player. And everything sounds so bright. I would say, a very strong performance, Mike!
