The Dark Side

Story line at bottom.

BiaB style = Celine 1 - Acoustic Guitar Ambie
Tempo - 40 BPM

I am playing the lead via my keyboard controller. - sound = Ultra Analog VA3 - preset - five circles

The BiaB tracks are verbatim.
Bass - Ultra Analog VA3 - preset - Warp Room
Drums - Presonus Impact XT - preset - Future Retro
Piano - Synthmaster - preset - AT Message From Mars KS
Guitar - Ultra Analog VA3 - preset - Acid Head
Strings - Synthmaster One - preset - VOC Ruta Sound

The only effect I added was some compression on the drums.

Mario, you are at it once again.

Very imaginative piece that kept me tuned in.

I detected hints of Monkees' "Star Collector" but much more well thought out.

I enjoyed this "farce"!

Mario,
Sounds like the soundtrack to a swampy threatening sci-fi scene ...oh ok, now I`ve read your description- its better than mine!
Love the warp control bass thing and the mood of this.

Robert

Ominous!

Something for the film sync libraries I would think.

Hope it doesn't work into dreams this evening smile

Cool listen!

Thanx so much for listening and commenting. I wasn't sure how people would react to this as it is way different then most of my stuff.

I'm glad that you liked it.

Thanx Robert. I think this song would work in a swamp monster 1956 B movie!

Thanx J&B. If this gives you nightmares just take two aspirins and call your doctor in the morning!

Very cool!

I started listening and immediately thought about a movie soundtrack, then I read your Dark side story line. Perfect fit!

Good stuff, Mario!

Hi MarioD,

You did reveal the dark side with a lead reminding me of the doors.
Well done

Mario, that reminds me a lot of the kind of music you used to hear in a DR.Who programme from the 60s & 70s THAT was clever and fun

Mario,
a different tune smile I know you kind of referenced it to SW, but to me it rang a different bell. There were a couple of video games in 1980s one called Golden Axe and Altered Beast (same Japanese maker). Both had unusually dark melodies. If they were to do re-makes of these, your Dark Side would fit nicely. Thank you for sharing.

Misha.

I did comment earlier but it seems it didn't take.
This needs a cool 8bit vid and perhaps some clips from John Carpenter films...REALLY good fun.

Very nice 'Jarre' mood, enjoyable selection of instruments, I especially like the bass and the vocal sound.
