Hi All, Here's a simple little sort of hopeful anti-love song... This is called NO REVOLUTION. Don’t want a revolution Not in the streets Don’t want a revolution Between the sheets I want you out Not in my head Don’t need the pollution In my bed Don’t want a revolution Not in the air Don’t want a revolution In your stare I’m done with us Not me but she I want a solution Give it to me Don’t want a revolution Not for peace Don’t want a revolution Let the talks cease I can’t hear you cry Not in my soul Don’t need absolution If truth be told Don’t want a revolution Not today Don’t want a revolution In any way Protests in the heart Refuse to go Don’t want a revolution No, no, no BIAB Tracks: 2475: Bass, Acoustic, HeldSimple 085 2693: Piano, Acoustic, RhythmModern 075 2692: Organ, Rhythm ModernPop 075 RealDrums: NashvilleBrushesBalladPushEv16 As always - thanks for listening! Bob,
Enjoyed hearing a piano-based track. Cool record cover.
Good lyric. Original. Your songs always feel so personal - like we are hearing/sharing your inner-most thoughts. That's a real talent.

Ha! Anti-Love song. THAT in itself is a revolution. To paraphase David Snyder, Bob Dean The Lyric machine. Dang, you are so good at that. You know, even the scatting-hummng solo is so good. I like your style, Bob. Sounds good, and floyd is right about the peek at your inner thoughts.

I love the piano and organ in this composition. It's another great song, lyrically, from you, impressive and heartfelt in the vocal expression, though I didn't get an anti-love vibe from it at all. I thought that brief break before the final verse was made for a short B3 solo, which could have also been added to the end.

Ooh, Bob, this is NICE! Love the snarky, wounded lyrics and the unresolved fade ending. The arrangement supports the narrator without intruding. Super vocals, too. Just a master class in describing an indescribable loss. Well done!

CLASSIC. CLASSIC. CLASSIC.
At some points, I thought I was listening to a Prelude by J.S. Bach, to which you'd put a melody. This is one the very highest compliments I can give, and it's meant as such.
Superb, from the music, to the lyrics, to the performance/rendition of it. Deceptively simple and simply done, with a perfect result. What a talent you have for this kinda thing ... not over-complicating things, being direct, doing things "simply", and saying what you have to say directly and sublimely. Bravo, hats off.

Bob, I love everything about this. The piano, bass and organ weave a wonderful tapestry with your voice. My mind went to sitting in an intimate coffee shop and you and your 4 piece band on stage doing this. Well done Sir.
https://soundcloud.com/user-646279677BiaB 2024 Windows For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

Humming solo ... nice idea and fits the song well. As always, great lyrics and performance. Needs more chorus though

Bob, IMHO this is your best to date. Outstanding vocal and lyrics backed by the perfect band. The best anti-love song that I have every heard. Brilliant!
I just posted a selfie and all of the responses were get well soon!

Hi, Bob.
Love the raw vocal and the understated backing track.
The drum kicking into higher gear for the piano/humming solo really works well.
Really good.

Great voice for the narrative. Lovely musical bed too. That percussion in the intro bar sounds weird though...makes sense within the body but out front it was a bit weird.

Bob,
I don’t think I can write a comment that express my reaction that’s better than what Floyd said above . . . so I’m just going to endorse and adopt his comment wholeheartedly. Your are no doubt a real talent.
My very best to you,

“I can’t hear you cry Not in my soul Don’t need absolution If truth be told”
That articulately sums the “don’t go away mad, just go away” feeling of the tune.
We love the intimate vibe of the band and your vocals. The organ works very well with the acoustic bass and piano. And It’s wrapped in an excellent mix.
The humming section perfectly displays the serenity of the decision made.
Love it!

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option
Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!
Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!
For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.
Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.
Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!
Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.
Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
