We won't know what it really is till we get our hands on it.
It sure looks like it does some of BIAB's lifting.

As both a BIAB and Logic User I already find the Logic Drummer to be helpful in my arrangements. I mostly use it to add percussion (conga, timbale, etc) to the project.
I have not replaced the BIAB drummer in too many project but have used Logic Drummer to Midi - to Superior Drummer. That worked well in a couple projects.
The future Will be interesting.

Also, AAPL's delivery of Logic to the tablet is pretty convincing evidence you won't be tied to a desktop computer in the future..... unless. you want to be.

Where's PG with iPad Biab ?????
Maybe I didn't mention JUCE, maybe that is the problem, otherwise they would have a Win,Lin,Mac, iOS and Android already:

JUCE is a cross platform framework allowing a single codebase to compile to native applications and plug-ins with the same user experience on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android, across both desktop and mobile. Native applications can be launched in the iOS and Android device simulators to simplify testing and debugging, and can be packaged up for distribution within the mobile app stores.

While PG are still working on the Mac version for the last 5 months.........

That sounds right !
How many more users would you get with an iPad version of Biab ! The Plugin Standalone is a good place to start.

Ipad version would be cool, but unlikely a money maker. Apps just don't cost very much, but i can imagine the value of a tablet version for live playing. Seriously your arranger idea. +1 for sure.

What is RealBand ? it's neither here nor there.

It's just all so wrong how it all works without much thought for tomorrow. PG don't seem to initiate the right thing in the first place unless they are forced to do it, like apple forcing them to go 64bit, and there are going to be more things coming, as mrgeeze posted https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2024/05/logic-pro-takes-music-making-to-the-next-level-with-new-ai-features/
Is there going to be a mad rush panic attack to catch up when more and more things FORCE them ?
At the moment they are flat out programing the Mac version with the same things they spent the previous 6 months doing on Win, while other companies already have crossplatform version of their software out released at the same time.
Ask yourself.

More energy needs to be put into the JUCE BBPlugin/Plugin Standalone/Live Arranger giving Win/Lin/Mac/iOS/Android:
The writing is on the wall.

Create and edit chord progressions in the Chord Track while your Session Players follow along.

As i said in the pother thread, great idea but remember Logic is not cross platform it is Mac and IOS only and it is a very finicky program in that it only works on brand new Macs older one are shut out of all new features. Stuck in time. BiaB does not do that!

You are right that the plugin needs more attention, let's hope your efforts are rewarded on this one as they were in the reaper connection to the plugin. Still the Logic example is probably not the right comparison. you have to admit it looks very sharp!!!

I'm not promoting to buy Logic for iPad, I'm trying to get PG's to look at the potential of the JUCE Plugin.
Forget Logic !

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.
