So I had a lot of fun with this. BIAB 2021 has some INSANE stuff in it, and I used it to make a song to sound like U2 just to make myself laugh. My goal was not to make it sound kind of like U2, but EXACTLY like U2. Tell me how close I got. Dublin style baby.

This was published by Millhouse Music.

They pitched it hard for a while (mid 90's). Mostly to the hat acts at the time.
It was heard by someone from Tanya Tucker's camp and they thought it would be right for her if we could rewrite the opening lines to change the gender.
Which, of course, we did... and sent it over.
They put it on hold. That lasted a few weeks and then was dropped. Typical.

I hadn't ever recorded it myself, so I thought I would.
I asked my musical-sister to join me for the harmonies (no brainer).

I had very limited time past few weeks for music things, so this is a bit raw. Had a nice conversation with Bud M., which made me rethink some mixing techniques, which I tried to apply here. (Thank you Bud!) Also, this was in a way interesting experience for me as I mixed in / used BIAB RD percussion and programmed some beats with Studio Drummer, which I never done before.

Just finished a new one and had the opportunity to employ Ken (klasaine) again to make the song come to life.

I'm really out of my comfort zone on this one.
Sort of a smooth jazz vibe requiring an almost micro-crooning vocal....which is not my strong point. smile (which I'm still trying to figure out)
