January 17, 2022 - User Showcase Song - Love Bitter Blues
After hearing some of Dave and Marty's recent material, I was inspired to go back and give this one a fresh coat of paint. Actually this is a total re-work of a song I posted about 4 years ago.
The first version didn't get a good mix and the vocals and guitar needed better performances (I still feel it could be better but it is a little better than before). It's not a typical type of tune for me but I really enjoy working on a bluesy project. For the lead and fills, I dusted off an old Epiphone Sheraton 2 that hasn't seen the light of day in a couple of years. I think that bridge pickup has a pretty good sound (not so much the neck pickup which I did not use on this). Anyway, I hope someone enjoys it and I thank you for giving it a listen!
