Yes, a very Bacharach feel, no doubt about it. Maybe you could get Elvis Costello to cover this song.

Very pretty!! I'm a huge fan of Bacharach and David, and I think you've captured many elements of their style here.......lyrics have that kind of poetic, philosophical twist. Very cool!! Take care. Greg

Excellent "in the style of" - I'm impressed.  The marimba really helped with the vibe. I liked the change of the lyric on the final chorus - nice.

Touching lyrics, simple but effective. Excellent arrangement with rhythmical, instrument and vocal style changes - I really like what you do in the second chorus. Great colorful mood - feels like I have really moved back in time.

YES!! You got it, Tano. Bacharach/David. Trust your wings, man. You're soaring. I once spent a day with Dionne Warwick's dad at Scepter Studios, and got to play the piano Bacharach used for recording. He would have loved this song, too.

Nice arrangement, poignant lyrics (they evoke comparisons with Gilbert O'Sullivan).
