• NEW Redesigned GUI Enhancements:
  • Band-in-a-Box® 2026 offers a faster, more user-friendly experience with an all-new, modernized interface. The sleek GUI redesign features a cleaner look and streamlined navigation across toolbars and windows, delivering a smoother, more efficient workflow.
  • A new side toolbar gives you instant access to track selection, the MultiPicker Library, and other frequently used windows. With the new Multi-View feature, you can view and work with multiple windows as layered panels—no clutter, no overlap—creating a flexible workspace that adapts to how you work.
  • Many windows—including Tracks, Piano Roll, and more—have been redesigned for improved usability and a cleaner, more intuitive interface, and much more.
• AI-Notes Feature: The powerful new AI-Notes feature converts polyphonic audio into MIDI, allowing you to view it in notation or play it back as MIDI. You can transcribe an entire track—including all pitched instruments and drums—or focus on individual instruments such as drums, bass, guitar/piano, or vocals. This uses an AI neural net to produce results that are accurate and sound very musical when played.
• Piano Roll Window - New Features and Enhancements: The enhanced Piano Roll window offers a modernized look, improved visual clarity, and smarter note display features, including velocity-based shading, customizable note information, and helpful tooltips for detailed feedback. Editing is more intuitive with full-height playback and position cursors, advanced grid and snap controls, and much more. Additional improvements like loop region editing, instrument-specific note labels, and real-time feedback make composing and editing faster, and more user-friendly.
• 202 more RealTracks (Sets 468-488) available with great new jazz, blues, funk, gospel, soul, disco, yacht rock, and more! Plus, there's 20 additional RealTracks available in the 2026 49-PAK.
• Band-in-a-Box^® 2026 for Windows includes version 2026 of RealBand and the Band-in-a-Box^® DAW Plugin. The Plugin works directly inside your DAW (Cakewalk, Reaper, Cubase, etc.) to generate styles, RealTracks, RealDrums, Multi-Riffs, and more.
