Hey I came up with a really catchy slogan out of nowhere in my sleep and thought I would write a song.

Then I thought, Hey what about an International Movement? Anyone want to march with me???

ALL LOVE MATTERS
By David Snyder

V1

All Love
Matters to me
If you live in Chaz
Or you live in DC
I say all God’s children
Were born to be free
So all love matters to me

PCh

Ain’t nobody’s business to call me any ugly names
Ain’t nobody’s business to try and make me feel ashamed

CH

All love matters, all love matters, All love matters to me
All love matters, all love matters, All love matters to me

V2

All love
matters to me
you might be purple
or you might be green
but all God’s children know what I mean
cause all love
matters to me

PCh

Ain’t nobody’s business to call us ugly names
Ain’t nobody’s business to try and make us feel ashamed

CH

All love matters, All love matters, All love matters to me
All love matters, All love matters, All love matters to me
All love matters, All love matters, All love matters to me

BRIDGE

Ain’t nobody’s business to call us any ugly names...

Wow, I loved this, the energy was off the chart. Normally I don't like a guitar stepping on the vocal but this was mixed just right and worked well. Great job!

Hey David… Definitely a lot of energy in the performance. If I could offer you some feedback, it would be this… Insert some instrumental content somewhere in the middle of this. The components you have are good but they tend to sound overly repeated, and I think that if you offset it with 8 to 16 bars of instrumental stuff, then came back strong with your repeated message, it would really improve the overall listening impact. Great work!

You have a real knack for hooks.

Killer energy. Excellent musical bed - classic bluesy Rock (like a Blues Brothers song!!).

Awesome vocal (I think it needs to come forward in the mix just a little).

Excellent song. Great to see you pop back in, buddy!

David,
Energy off the charts in your vocal and I like the repetition of a very good and righteous hook.
Where are we marching to?

David, this is your best to date IMHO. I would like to have the vocal more up front; but your vocal inflections were heart felt. The backing tracks are perfect for this song.

Energetic indeed.
I know the idea is to hammer the theme/slogan/hook relentlessly and it does that.
I fear the message is diluted by the plethora of "......lives matter" memes, banners and chants set up over the last couple of months to diminish the current greater need of BLM.
You do make your point heard and remembered though.

Hi David,

This is a very nice song. The theme is brought very strongly and I doubt if anyone missed the point!
I read the word 'energy' a lot of times in the other posts. I think that is realy true. You must have been speach-/ breathless after singing this song.

The song itself reminded me of an excisting song. I think it were the Rolling Stones, but I'm not sure. Your song had the same kind of vibe and I like that very much!

Great sentiment David and delivered with a definite Neal Young and Crazy Horse vibe.

Enjoyed it!

Good catch of the dream title and turning it into a powerful song. Great singing style with some nice out of breath sounding moments. Warm sounding mix. "You might be purple or you might be green" - very considerate to take Martians also into account wink

Good tackle of a protest song. The instrumentation sounds a bit like the Turtles, definitely a 60s sound, which I like very much.

What they said. smile

(Agree with moving the vocal forward a bit, too.)

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?
