Hello All,
I’m working on a Cajun tune using the Zydeco3 style. It’s not bad but I’d like to replace the midi guitar with an RT guitar. The rhythm chanks are on the 2 beat and on the 3AND beat.
Better yet, are there any RTs with the chanks on the 2, the 2AND and the 4 beats, kind of a rockabilly beat.
Anybody ever come across an RT guitar with these patterns?
All help is greatly appreciated.

Percy,
I am away from my music computer as I type this but while they are a few midi Cajun and Zydeco styles I am sorry to inform you that they are no realtrack styles of this type and also the midi styles are very weak at best.
I currently have a thread on the wish-list for some driving Zydeco styles but not too much response from other members as no doubt we are in a small minority when it comes to this genre. Not a complaint just a personal observation. I have been able to get by on a few tunes by adapting a couple of the Bluegrass instruments (realtracks).

If you find one with 1st and 3rd beat you could slide the track one beat in RB. Then You could move the old 3rd (now the 4th) and make it play on the 3rd "and" beat

Thanks for the links. The Buckwheat Zydeco even 8 stuff sounds great, When PG Music introduced the Tex-Mex styles a while back, I was finally able to play some authentic-sounding Tejano music. I use that accordion on some of the older Cajun tunes, e.g. Colinda.
BB's zydeco shuffle styles work to a degree, but like Danny, I look forward to some RTs.

I, too, like Zydeco music. I can't even imagine the necessary technology involved but I envision a time when we will be able to edit RTs audio as we now can with MIDI.
Percy, I have had some success in creating hybrid styles. Sans RTs, obviously. You may want to experiment with hybrid styles, it's fun.
