The fact that so many greats have covered the same song is one of the aspects of jazz that I treasure, Joe.
I tend to try to listen to them ALL and see what I can learn from each.
And I leave the lists and critiques up to those who prefer such.
Am thinking about that wine tasting in France where the "experts" chose CA cardboard box wines over expensive bottled French wines simply because they did not see the box...
