I would like to use BandInABox for practicing on clarinet.
Is there a way to display melody transposed for Bb clarinet while BIAB plays the accompaniment in concert pitch?

Yes! I'm not at a computer but it's something like Opt., Preferences, Notation, Transpose. Select "Clarinet +2" in the pull down menu.
BIAB 2025 Win Audiophile. Software: Studio One 7 Pro, Swam horns, Acoustica-7, Notion 6, Song Master Pro, Win 11 Home. Hardware: Intel i9, 32 Gb; Roland Integra-7, Presonus 192 & Faderport 8, Royer 121, Adam Sub8 & Neumann 120 monitors.

You can access the Transpose feature either in the Prefs->Transpose or in the Notation View under Options.
And, you can pick "Clarinet" from the convenient dropdown menu and everything you see will be transposed up one step for Bb Clarinet, the notes and the chords, but the music will continue to play back in the original Concert Key so that all matches.

I do this now when using clarinet and BIAB. Depending on the how the notes were entered, I have used tenor sax and/or trumpet to get the melody where the range is correct for the clarinet. Suggest trying it and see how the tonal range changes with what instrument is transposed.
