Tom,It is like a dreamscape, kind of a subconscious tune laying just below the surface I love that description! It is exactly what I, with hindsight, intended! Thanks for listening. Danny, Thanks again!! Can I please use "Change of Pace Productions", what a SUPERB name for my "music". Dani,Thanks for the nice comments. I only posted the guitar version because of the "negative" comments. Negative in a positive way that is, as they help me to learn/improve. Steve as with Tommyad, that is a superb description of the song. Wish I'd thought of it Thanks for listening In music boundaries are made to be pushed sometimes as rules are made to be broken, every now and then. I have always wished to paint pictures with words Alyn

Hey Alyn.
Just back from a week of lazing by the pool at Center Parcs (won't mean a thing to our friends in the colonies) and this is the first thing I've listened to.
I much prefer this version to the acoustic one, even though it is a trifle strange. What I really like is how you always manage to rocket me out of my comfort zone, musically speaking. I can never just listen to your tracks once - I always feel compelled to hit that play button again and again.
I love stuff which makes me think and re-evaluate my own approach to writing and this certainly does that in a very pleasant way.
Thanks, ROG.

Hey Alyn,
Gosh, you know how to make your listeners sit up and pay attention!
Different? Definitely! Inventive? Oh my yes! Creative? It was like finger painting with colours of sound. This was one of the most interesting pieces of music I've listened to.
I take my hat off to you! The way you push the envelope of creativity and continually challenge the concept of 'what makes music' is a credit to you. Are you related to Boehm?
I'm thoroughly enjoying listening to what you create.
More please! Noel

ROG, I LOVE Centre Parks, I used to go twice a year to Longleat with my son for 5-6 years. Sherwood Forest was a bit to far to drive for me. Yup strange is a good description as I unintentionally avoid the comfort zone in most of my songs. I could never write with another human I love stuff which makes me think and re-evaluate my own approach to writing Me too as I learn from other songwriters from Zappa through McCartney to ROG!! Thanks Alyn

Noel,
I like to paint pictures with words and I blush with your praise. Thank you, Sir.
My Dad did have a fast bike but Germany would have been a bit far for him to pedal!!!! And to compare me with Boehm is great praise indeed. I look forward to YOUR next work also.
Thank you
Alyn

as they are, I prefer the acoustic version, but I can't help but think that there is a version that combines the two in some way.
Like start off with one or the other (acoustic or synth) then switch half way.
Or maybe blend the synth into the acoustic version half way.
Or add an 8 bar bridge somewhere in the middle of the acoustic version of just the synth, no vocal and then switch back to the acoustic version to finish the lyric ...
The song is so rich that the possibilities are intriguing to contemplate.

Yeh I agree that there is a 3rd version, a combination of the 2 so far. I like your ideas so will be working on them over the next few weeks, if I am allowed. The song is so rich that the possibilities are intriguing to contemplate. Thank you that is one hell of a comloment Alyn
