RJ is my favorite of all the Eastwood demo artists. Serious chops in what seems like an unlimited number of styles. This one is on a baritone guitar. He does another demo of a 'bass six' by playing all of the various parts of Stevie Wonder's "I Wish".

All of the demo artists for Eastwood have some classy chops. If you appreciate well played electric guitar in a wide variety of styles, their YouTube channel is worthy of subscription.

Don, glad you enjoyed it. Make sure to check out all of their demo folks - they all play extremely tasteful licks and rhythms. My 2nd favorite player that demos for them is Wendell Ferguson. His style is slightly more traditional than RJ, but again, just great chops.

Here's RJ doing "Sleepwalk" playing all the parts simultaneously, the lead, the bass line and the rhythm guitar.

A fabulous rendition of Santo and Johnny's classic that was originally played on PSG.

I remember that I was playing/singing in a 5-piece, Standards Band at the time. Caravan; Blue Skirt Waltz; In The Nude; etc.

Sorry, Don, no PSG, Santo Farina played a Fender doubleneck lapsteel. He played his standing, the steel guitar put on four legs, high enough for comfortable playing.

Guido, you are absolutely correct. I was going from a very porous memory and that is definitely folly at my age. The friend who played it for me originally, played a PSG and the fellow who backed my album played it on PSG.

The only thing I am 100% confident of, at my age, is Depends is a noun in my nursing home.

I used to play a PSG once and I still have it. After awhile you can hear if one uses pedals or doesn't. (The Frenc call that "deformation professionelle".) Your statement is driven by general assumption, so it's no big thing.

Have a super sunday.

Btw: Send me a PM with your postal address, please.

I love 6 string bass, ever since Duane Eddy on his 3rd album (1959) playing a Danelectro as lead guitar.

Cheers.
