I always felt there should be a simple Vibes rhythm, something more sparse and slower than the busy ones we got from "the factory", so to speak. So in the spirit of "if you want something done..." I decided to make some myself cool
I hope you'll find these useful, they work for a range of styles & tempos, 50-100 bpm at least.

Thanks for that, Noel, and I'm quite confident in the actual set too. I know it's a bit of a hefty download, but I didn't want to compromise on the quality by compressing the source audio.
I hope people will still find it worth the fetch & space once they have it.

And just in case anyone is worried, all the demos are made with songs that came with the program!

Now, if only someone can help me figure out why the ending of the vibe tracks keep getting omitted, I'd be most grateful. I didn't do anything different from my Trumpet set (that I can notice) and the endings on that set works fine! Very odd smirk

You need an Endings template Vibes_Rhythm_Song_15_Endings.SGU

4 bar endings
Bar 1 Enter & Play your 1st chord C
Bar 2 Enter & Play same chord Hold C...
Bar 4 Enter & Stop same chord with C.d
Bar 5-8 Repeat with new chord
" " "

click Bar 1 > F5 (Option+B) Bar Settings > UserTracks Development
Check "Endings start on this bar...." Update
from drop down Bar choice select 5 Update
from drop down Bar choice select 9 Update
from drop down Bar choice select 13 Update
" " "

so for the below example you will have 1,5,9,13

Shots n Holds (should be working n next version, at least if you make them now you won't have to find all the correct settings again to get that same sound)
Vibes_Rhythm_Song_16_ShotsHoldsChording.SGU
So Bar 1 play the held chord for 4 bars
Bar 5 play the same chord as a shot
Bar 6 play the same chord as a shot
Bar 7 play the same chord as a shot
Bar 8 play the same chord as a shot

Bar 9 Repeat with new chord
" " "

Have a look in Band-in-a-Box/RealTracks/UserTracks/Accordion, Rhythm Crossover Sw16 075

Edit: should Vibes_Rhythm_Song_06.SGU have a wav ?

Yes, thank you, I know how to make specific ending tracks. But according to P.G. himself, if I have recorded an ending along with the track, then that should be enough. And all my recorded audio included a 2-bar ending along with the music that was playing.
And also, it still doesn't explain why they work on my Muted Trumpet set but not on the Vibes.

I'm on a Mac, so I have a nagging suspicion that this is yet one more thing that works worse on Mac than PC. It would be very helpful if the PC users who have grabbed my sets would at least say if these endings work for them or not. So far I'm seeing a lot of downloads and not so much as a thank you for my work!

Ohhh fuu...!!! shocked How did I miss that!?! No wonder I was getting crappy results in testing, if I messed up the naming sequence! crazy
I am SO SORRY to everyone who grabbed my set in good faith, and I feel both stupid and ashamed for this horrible oversight blush
Thank you so much for pointing out this awful error to me. And to answer your question, then of course there should be a 06 wav, but now I'll have to go back and figure out where exactly I went wrong. so that I don't give out the wrong numbers again. For I'm not even sure it's as simple as renaming the 7-12 one lower number. I may even be forced to redo the whole bloody set. "#$%&!! mad

13 and 14 are my recently added 'extra' data. Both have 32 bars of song plus a 2 bar ending like the others, but with 2 chords per bar.

You are doing ok, UTs are a new thing, I have made many mistakes ! you just need to make fixes and updates as PG does.

13 has 32 bars, here is what I get with 14:
(it may have been damaged in download, check yours)

I think with the Endings the more different chords you can have the better so BB has more to work with, that's why it might be better have a lot of different chord endings in a separate Endings Template.
Once they get the Shots n Holds worked out it will be great as to what you will be able to do with UTs !

It's not that I haven't made any other mistakes along the way, I just didn't publish them! crazy
I'll have another look at that 'too short' issue when I go investigate the other thing. Looks like a whole new batch is in order anyway.

p.s. I've taken down the current set until I got these issues fixed.

Oh wow, to get such compliments from the masters themselves - I'm truly humbled, thank you! blush

p.s. I forgot to include one wav, in the key of E, so I reuploaded it just now, in case you'd like to get the full set (link above should still work, I updated that to match). And my next set, Vibes Sw 110, is already online - with even more to come! cool
