Hi Alyn. Shirley-Louise first heard it live at the club and broke into big smiles and came on stage to give me a big kiss. Very rewarding. Cheers.

Richard, When I hear your songs, I imagine myself sitting around a campfire on the beach listening to your songs of life and the sea. I enjoyed it, Tom

I'm with Shirley-Louise, this is a big smile song. Loved it and enjoyed your vocals as well. This song was a good fit for you and I bet it was a big hit at the club.

This is a fine upbeat song that we
very much enjoyed. The production is
spot on and I really like that boom chicka
RT.

Now Greg got us to thinking about the
reggae notion. That would definitely
work with your vibe....but as it is everything
also works most excellently for us.

Nice!

Hi Rich,

Another tune to like a lot! Your production was top shelf all the way.

I did read all the comments before writing mine (I'm in the hospital and there isn't much to do after surgery except read!), but I have a slightly different take on this one than the other folks have. To my ears, it sounds like it could have been a Waylon Jennings #1 hit.

But, regardless of what we all think it sounds like, it sounds good! I enjoyed my listen. Thanks for a real nice 3 minutes of pleasure. Best to you ...

Al

Thank you Tom. I love the image of sitting around a campfire swapping tales and songs.
That's pretty much my style of song alright. Cheers.

Thanks for the comments Charlie. Yes the old fellas I play with at the club enjoyed it. Glad you did too.
I am slowly learning/trying to write songs that are easy to sing and easy for them to play at first sight. Also to learn making them easy to follow and to understand. Cheers.

Thanks J&B for such positive comments. I think I am addicted to the boom chicka RT.
Have had a quick try at some reggae backings and like some a lot.
Will pursue that one later. Cheers.

Hi Al. Heal baby heal.
Thanks for mentioning my hero Waylon. He could make anything sound good and has been a huge influence on me over the years. Glad it eased your day. Cheers.

I really dig the guitar sound and production on this one. The tones really mix extremely well. Whatever you did to mix and master this one, I would remember it. This is a great sound man.

Richard,

This sounds great! The arrangement and the mix are terrific. I'm with Sundance, this is my new favourite of yours. It's very catchy. Even as I'm sitting here typing the chorus is playing in my mind.

All the best,
Noel

Thanks David for very gratifying comments.
They are excellent RT's which just sort of fell together well. Hope I can use them again. Cheers.
