Greg, late to the party but glad that I came. This is a super song, loved the lyrics. Your vocals were very good and your backing tracks were perfect for this song.

I thought this was a great, solid job of production if the goal was to make the song "pitchable." I also liked the song itself very much. Some people put in way too much when they are *pitching* a song and the rule of thumb is if you are over six tracks you are way too busy--sometimes four is golden (for *pitching*--not your own record.) At any rate, your clean simple arrangement is perfect to me. You may want to pull the string backs just a tiny bit though, not much, just a little, or work with the fader on them. This is great song to experiment with fading all instrumental tracks up and down because the ones that are there are so simple. Kind of like the Beatles in a way. So experiment!!  Great job. THanks for the nice comments and the careful listen David! I don't know if I'll ever pitch it but I do like relatively simple arrangements. You're doing some really good stuff lately! Take care. Greg

Anyway, I love this and think the vocal is superb. I wouldn't want to heat anyone else's voice.
