Following on from Videotracks comment on the Shots, holds marker, the RED LINE under the bar chord that denotes when F5 is in use is now SO FAINT that its often not discernible to those with less that good eyesight. Can it be made BOLD please?

Yes, I have to strongly agree. Especially if there is a Part Marker on the same bar, it's virtually absolutely impossible to see the tiny red line indicator. What about a realistic indicator to show that Bar Settings are active for that bar:

It may potentially be good to make stronger indications optional. In playback situations I find stronger indications irritating. For editing purposes it may be helpful.

That sounds a bit like a -1.

I may tend to agree. Haven't worked enough in BIAB 2016 yet to tell. But you have a point. If I am reading the chart, I just need to see the chord.

Therefore, for me its a +/- 1 at this time.

Some form of a reminder indicator comes in useful when there is a time signature change say from 4/4 to 3/4, (or possibly a tempo change, or a key signature change)

Unlike notation, only showing the chord doesn't give any indication that the time signature or key signature will change at that bar. So there's still some benefit in having a 'reminder'. There are many songs with time signature changes, and there's an indicator in place now (feint red line), only it's not readable.

The musician should have as much information as is required to interpret/predict the chart. No more, no less.

Lets have it back to what it was in 2015. It was OK then.

re MartinB and Jazzmandan's point, I assume that is alright?

The realistic indicator should be optional, because if you add a star or anything else, you won't be able to display the section letters.

+1 for the idea of a bold red line

This indicator would help you zip in this respect. The indicator shows up whenever *anything* gets changed at some bar, such as style, tempo, pitch, volume or whatnot. Quite to the contrary it may serve as distraction when you assume signature changes there. For signature changes and annotations to your liking you'd be way better off via the lead sheet window -> it provides quite flexible options to come up with chords only, signature changes, section text and more.

Just leave this cited indicator on the chord sheet as unobtrusive as possible/reasonable.

Yes, it doesn't have to be a symbol, it just has to be an indicator that provides a visible reminder.
