In honor of the passing of Leonard Cohen. Thank you to Mr. Cohen for everything he contributed to the musical landscape! He will be missed.

I love this rendition of Hallelujah. K.D. Lang does an amazing job.

Yes, Leonard delivered many many great songs over an extensive period.

It is wonderful to see these tributes.

Joanne,

Wonderful tribute and such an inspiring song. It's easy to understand why so many singers have covered the song.

I enjoyed the video but it is your and Robin's performance that makes the song stick in my mind. That is as good as I've ever heard it sung.

Thanks so much Jim. It really was done very quickly on Friday afternoon because Robin and I had a gig that evening. She sung her part through once. Biab played a starring role as usual.

It's amazing, since Leonard Cohen passed away I find myself with a Cohen song in my head on most days. And that after years of silence. My Cohen years were interrupted by Billy Joel and a few others and I sort of lost touch until I saw him in Zurich on his last tour, which is a memory I treasure. It is as if he is haunting me, in a pleasant sense of course, like saying "You should have stayed with it friend, you missed the best bits". So I guess I have some catching up to do.

Hi Sinbad,

Me too, I've been humming a few of my favorites for the past week or so. Must be in the ether. Happy to hear he's got you thinking about "catching up."

Cheers

Tis was always one of my personal favorites.

I would assume anyone who could cover this song, would cover this song. So I did several years ago.
Hallelujah

Music Student,

I think you captured the song's vibe very well. Nice production.
