Kingston Trio, Beach Boys...dunno. We're hearing a mellow Elvis swing. And we like that!
The harmonies sound in the pocket and work for us.
As Tom said it is "catchy and memorable."

Howdy,
Love the kicked-back, take-it-easy feel to this. It's very relaxing. Ditto on the Kingston Trio reference in a previous post. The harmonies work on this ... can't say that about many songs (harmony beginning to end), but it sure makes this one a winner. Loved it!

Rob, If we didn't know any better, we'd thought this was an already existing evergreen  . Sounds very nice and the constant harmony vocals work great too. Rob and Anne-Marie

I don't think that the harmonies are overkill at all! I think that they work well with the nigh constant vocals. A very beautiful piece!
