I use Sonar platinum to mix all my tracks.
With Sonar I use studio strips and I use presets that I have designed specifically for my vocals. I also use a Behringer Xenyx QX1202USB 12-Input Mixer w/ FX & USB I hope this is helpful. Rob

There`s a nice moody atmosphere ( yes, I got that Animals vibe Floyd mentioned too!) and a driving beat going on behind your excellent lyrics. Your vocal is good - really sounds like you`ve walked the walk on the advice here... which definitely hits the mark with this dad.

This song really has a vintage feel to it. It looks like I'm not the only one that thinks this! Seems it reminds people of a 60s vibe. Maybe that's the vintage vibe that I'm getting from it.
I really love this arrangement, and I really like the overall style choices that you've made here. I think the vocals are also on point. You really did a fantastic job on this one!
