Thanks Will..I'm still unclear...how do you buy the vocals without getting any of the other music components?

Use google and search for "acapellas" - there are plenty of web sites with acapellas (some free too).

Thank you, Will. I have to admit I had never heard of the possibility to by acapellas before.
Very interesting and I think it's quite a challenge to make something as fine as your version out of them - I'm constalntly singing the hook line. You really did a great job.
Where do you find good acapellas and do they sell such a track just once or can they be bought by more then one person? If so, I'd think it would be thrilling to hear what different people make out of the exact same acapella, especially if they are into differnt styles of music...

Hi Crossroads, As I wrote in an earlier post, it is possible to search for acapellas in Google. Make sure it is a legit website (do some reading up on the company before you buy anything). It is not always easy to find good sounding acapellas. Also some of the singers are not good at keeping the timing or the key. Often you can either buy non-exclusive vocals (so others can buy them as well) or exclusive vocals (you have all the rights for the vocals and only you can use them). The last option is typically much more expensive. There are also websites where you get a songwriter/singer to make the lyrics and the melody to your instrumentals. In 2018 almost everything is possible!  Thanks for listening, Will

That had to be project requiring a lot of thought. I think it would be above my music pay grade To my ears you did a fine job wrapping the arrangement around an existing vocal. J&B
