David, Gregg Allman and Leonard Cohen got together and produced this song.
David, you put a lot of passion into this one. This is an excellent write and production. Everyting is spot on and your lyrics are super. But your vocal is outstanding.
I've accidentally swallowed a load of scrabble pieces. My next trip to the toilet could spell trouble.

I'm late to the party with listening to this one. It's great! The piano is the perfect choice for backing. Those chords that came and landed with your inspiration are wonderful. In addition, these lyrics are terrific. I love the way that they flow and how you've used pace to separate verses and choruses... really, REALLY well done.
I have to say that beginning the song with two choruses is very effective.... inspired arranging!

David, this is a really beautiful song. Well written, and tastefully arranged. Everything is in its place, to impact the message of the song.
I can definitely hear the Ray Charles references. Also hear just a little Leon Russell in there.

Wow David! That had to take quite a bit of time to put that together! There is such a sweet emotional vibe underlying this great arrangement! Your vocal expressed some great soul that reminds me so much of Ray Charles! No one could tell me that he didn't have a HUGE influence on you! You are a treasure in this forum community!
