A Petal From A Rose

The first instrumental I ever did with BIAB. Recorded this in early 2012. Unfortunately, I no longer have the tracks or style I used. But, it is all BIAB. I created it using BIAB 2011. Thanks for listening. Will be by to listen to all of you tonight.

Alan

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Hey Rob ...

Great to hear from you! I've not been around much the past couple of weeks. Fortunately, it wasn't my wife's health this time. Real life has a way of stealing your time. But, I should be around a bit more for a while.

Thank you for those very nice comments. The chord progression for the chorus is a bit atypical but it just fell into place. Sometimes I get lucky! Thanks again.

Alan

This is really lovely, especially for a first tune from the program! Really well textured and melodic - and nice and easy on the ears.

Thanks for sharing with us smile

Thats sound excellent Al.

I also joined that year and I can barely listen to some of the mixes I did then.

You started strong and have maintained a high level of excellence.

Nice progression and that clean guitar sounds very melodic. You choose your tracks very, very well.

Enjoyable!

Hi Deryk,

Always a true pleasure to hear from you and all the great folks at PG Music. It wasn't the very first song - the first was "Burning", a vocal by my wife. But this was the first instrumental. So glad you enjoyed it!
