Just looking at the Scaler 2+ Bundle...
Would anyone recommend the "Producer's Guide to Scaler 2 ?

Nanohost is free and will permit you to load Scaler2 as a standalone version. A standalone version makes Scaler 2 quick and easy to work off line and allows you to focus on its full feature set. Scaler 2 standalone has all the sounds and ability to save your work so when you do need to bring it all into your DAW it is there.

Scaler 2 also works really well in Unify.

I have a directory of shortcuts I set up for the multiple VSTs I wrap in Nanohost to play as standalones. Credits to @Rustyspoon for recommending this app a good year ago. grin

Scaler 2.5 runs as a standalone in a nice wrapper or in any of the standard DAWs as a VST.

To make 2tone VST shell icon less generic, here is Scaler icon I made. Change .mp3 extension to .ico and replace generic.
