This is a Gershwin styled jazz ballad. I used the jazfred RS. Marcus Jackson from fiverr is the vocalist.

https://soundcloud.com/user-770148857/out-of-my-senses

Lyrics
I've heard people say, One of these days, She's gonna let him go
A girl like her, has to prefer, a more spectacular beau,
Now sometimes I think that it's too much, dealing with that kind of flak,
But how I react to your touch, brings my thinking back
I'd have to be out of my senses to pass up a woman like you
Why would I stop and be pensive, when all that I gotta do (is)
Jump right in, ready to swim, the channel and back times two,
Out of my senses I'm not, cuz I got you.

Sure there'll be guys, all full of sighs, and maybe a whistle or two
Men being bold, it's gonna get old, and what's a fella to do?
But they'll never know the pleasure of your company,
Or how much of a treasure that you are to me.
I'd have to be out of my senses to pass up a woman like you
Why would I stop and be pensive, when all that I gotta do (is)
Jump right in, ready to swim, the channel and back times two,
Out of my senses I'm not, cuz I got you
Cuz I got you.

That style takes me back to the early 50's and you did it well.
Laid back & cool.

HI Bob ...

I'm sure you had to know I would really like this. I'm such a fan of 50s big band music. Forties aren't bad either.

You got more than your money's worth from your hired singer. His vocal styling and your superior arrangement and lyric immediately made of Vic Damone. He was one of my favorite pop-jazz singers of the fifties and early 60s. This is just so good! Every note, word, and vocal had me captivated and it never diminished. Great song and delivery! A tip of the hat for a fine production!

Happy New year. Hope 2021 treats you kindly.

Alan

Classic 50's jazz.

A quality set of lyrics has been delivered with outstanding vocals.

Quality throughout, most enjoyable.

That's quite lovely but the bass n kit are quite toppy and there're a lot of clicksnslaps that get in the way of the vocal.
Lovely job otherwise.

Cheers

Hi TuneMonger,

that is such a lovely one... Loved the lyrics a lot, the backing track is just perfect and your singing is simply wonderful.

Add some crackling to the recording and everybody would think that this must have been one of those old gold goodies released on a shellac 78 rpm record...

Loved the listen so much...

Take care,

Stefan

Classic 50's jazz vocal and I loved it. Outstanding vocal setting in front of the perfect backing tracks. All I can say is WOW!

Unclear if the pianist is a total beginner or a professional jazz player?

Thanks to all for their nice comments, especially Alan and Stefan. Floyd, it's always good to know it gets your seal of approval. Ray, I will try some other bass and drum RTs to see if I can get a smoother result. But I'm pretty content with what I've got. Happy New Year to all!
