Yeah, my poor computer was straining under the load. Some day I need to upgrade again.

Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment!

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

I can't take much credit for the mix - my son did most of the hard work. But I'll let him know it was appreciated.

Horns still are a bit of a mystery, but this encourages me to keep trying.

Thanks! smile

Thanks, Pat.

The nice thing about using the EWI is that I don't have to worry about miking it!

Plus, it's a lot easier to edit the sound than with the real thing. wink

But I appreciate the nice words!

I am glad that you do it though because it is very inspiring and something that can lift ones mood those days where you feel that nothing more can be done with BiaB... well just listen to this track... and you know that much more can be done...

That's how I feel about everyone else's songs on this forum. smile

Great changes and a really solid set of melody lines. I'm glad you said "70's" because that's what came to mind...credit music for a 70's TV movie or more arty film. Much enjoyed.

Hi David,

Man, that's a lot of tracks! Seems you managed to find space for all of them though, nice stereo spread though the studio 'phones.

Best part for me was the use of the EWI, horns sound great and totally real.

Very impressive production, enjoyed!

Wow, I haven't heard the other versions, David, but my hats off to your son if he is to get the credit for this masterful production and mix. So much good in there and it all comes out for the listener to enjoy. Really a special groove.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Well, I know I'm as deaf as a mule when it comes to commenting on technical things, but ... you know something, I liked that! Busyness and all ... in fact, especially the busyness!!! Good music, well written ... and I like the horns that little bit up front, too. Sue me ;-) - that, to me, was an excellent listen! :-)

I was thinking the same thing, with credits sliding by in a "Love Boat" sort of style. wink

Thanks for stopping by!

Hi, Dave!

Thanks, the EWI is a blast to play. My poor "real" horns don't get much love these days. cry

Is the hat you're taking off the same hat as in your picture? My son's got some of those - he loves how it keeps his head warm during the mild winter season in Northern California.

Glad you liked it! smile

I'm a bit of a dummy when it comes to drums - especially when I'm starting a track with them. I love all those fills and such.

So I pick the really busy drum tracks, and start adding other instruments.

And then I wonder why there's no room for the rest of the instruments when I build up the tracks. cry

Glad to have you stop by, thanks for the nice words. laugh
