This made me laugh because when I play with a Southside Johnny tribute band the horn section and I wear all black with sunglasses, and to stay true to the "Asbury Park NJ" homage I get introduced under a double entendre alias name and that I am from Tenafly NJ. I would go so far as to play off stage with that band because my role in the band is to augment the 3 live horns with my sampler/synthesizer horn section. 3 of them out front sounds like 8.

THIS is us from a show in July 2019, the last time we played due to Covid restrictions. It's a collage of video form cell phones, movie cams and a drone.

Well done!!! That guitar sounds so tasty.

I too really liked that section at 2.04. It tickled my ears with pleasure. grin

Fantastic blues man! Love that guitar and bass line. Eddie's singing, know that it hurts me to say this, is fantastic. Great job Eddie! This had a real live feel to it and that isn't easy to do.

Great work gentlemen!

This is right up my alley, love this sort of groove.

Great tone on the tele! Cool licks as always and love the interplay between the guitar and the sax.

Best part of the song for me was the bridge at 2:01, nicely done.

Enjoyed!

Hi Dave,
Many thanks for the review.
Coming from another Blues Man, it's greatly appreciated.

Hi Marty,
Thanks for the listen and the positive review.
The sax RTs are amongst my favourites - I can't believe how good they sound.

A wonderful Blues shuffle, well-sung and played - just great. And like Nigel said: That part starting at 2:04 is marvellous!!!

Take care,

Hi Stefan,
Yeah, when it comes to the Blues, age doesn't count at all!
Thanks for the listen and the kind comments.

Nice vocals/guitar/bass/keyboard performances.

We loved the interplay with your guitar and the RT sax.

The lyric you dismiss actually fits quite well in world of blues writes. Eschew over sophistication and just express yourself vocally and instrumentally.

Enjoyed it!

J&B

Hi there J&B,
Thanks for the listen and all the positive comments.
The RT sax parts are great - when you're playing together it's just like the sax guy is in the room with you.
Pleased you liked the lyrics.

'eddie1261'...

What gorgeous footage that is! It captures the wonderful vibe of people enjoying live music being performed on a summer's evening.

Love that wide-legged 'outlaw' stance you took in the photo displayed at the end of the video! smile.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

I was only wondering why you had waited so long to listen to your own song?

Indeed, an excellent band, like Floyd wrote.
I liked it a lot!

Hans

Hi Hans,
Glad you liked it.
I'm not sure myself why it took us so long to list this one - sometimes we have a few projects on
the go at the same time and things get overlooked.
Anyway, many thanks for the review.
