Bob, you have the perfect voice for a song like this! Your vocal is absolutely outstanding. The backing track is excellent. Like others have said a touch of Dylan in this one.
Your lyrics took it over the top for me. Verses like
"Guess I’m tinted
Shades of blue tonight"
and
"You got the best of me, you got it wrong
You got me trapped inside an old Dylan song"
I could hear John Prine singing a song like this.
