For this reason, Microsoft has invested heavily in application compatibility and services to help our customers on this journey. In fact, we made application compatibility a core tenet of Windows 10, and we continue that commitment in Windows 11.
Try as I might, I can't get my HP printer to work on Windows 10. Microsoft point me first to their extended printer drivers, then to HP; HP offer all sorts of tools/diagnostics/driver-installers, but most efforts fail even to find the printer, much less make it work. I guess they all want me to buy a new printer, but the printer works just fine. I just print everything from Linux. I updated to the HP Smart app and it seemed to fix any issues I had with my HP printer when it stopped working for some reason. May be the answer to your issues.
My wife asked if I had seen the dog bowl. I told her I didn't even know he could.

I generally use all PG products from my Core i5 fast laptop with 8gb ram and 256 gb SSD very well using Windows 10. Replaced my aging desktop PC for a Raspberry Pi400 for general internet and word processing. Obtained from Microsoft latest Windows 11 for ARM64 as a beta test. Installed on the Pi with no issues and ran PTW, BIAB and RealBand quite happily (though BIAB Real tracks are slower loading than on the Core i5 machine. These are running off an attached USB hard drive. I suspect the file loading will be significantly faster from an SSD.
BTW Yamaha USB Midi driver would not install in Windows 11 but the better (includes audio) USB driver from Steinberg installed and connected my Yamaha piano.
Raspberry Pi modules are very cheap and very small which portends a great future for mobile stage musician use.
Have Fun!!

Aussie Garth. g'day...re the fab PI4. are you pulling my chain mate...lol. you got this nerdy geek all excited. is win running in some sort of emulation mode or natively on pi4.
i use reaper/biab/realband combo to create songs. same as you i5/ssd's etc/win 10. if all that works on pi...its exciting. for a 80 buk computer vs apples very nice, bur expensive m1. if pi gets even more powerful say a pi5. i know reaps has a version for arm.
can i ask you in realband menu action>>test audio performance how many traks reported ...by rb on the pi.
please keep us updated how well pg progs work on the pi. also what sound device are you useing with pi4. i'm prolly gonna wait for pi5.
best om
ps your right bout mobile apps....exciting times.

Garth from Perth Aus Very interesting news there Garth, thanks for sharing with us! I don't believe we've tried running BIAB from a Raspberry Pi yet - it's something I might have to play with. Aussie Garth. g'day...re the fab PI4. are you pulling my chain mate...lol. you got this nerdy geek all excited. is win running in some sort of emulation mode or natively on pi4. Windows for ARM now has an x86 emulator in it, much like macOS on the M1 (which is ARM too). This was intended for the newer Microsoft Surface tablets, some of which use ARM chips, and I didn't expect it would also fall onto Raspberry... It'll definitely take a performance hit, but from the sounds of it things are working at least!

simon.. sigh... a big raspberry for emulators...lol. if the pi processor hits 4 ghz watch out daw world. gonna be a game changer i hope. hopefully pi will make apple keep its m1 prices down.
apple could slay it with a 300 buk computer imho. but i dont think we will ever see it...sigh.
another competitive aspect is i can now buy i5 refurbs for peanuts under 200 buks. plenty power eg 4570 for biab/rb as long as one dont go nuts on high cpu plug ins.

More on Raspberry Pi testing -
Pi OS desktop loaded Ram usage 138mB out of about 3mB available. Pi Windows 11 Arm64 desktop loaded Ram usage over 2gB.
I would wait for a Pi500 or whatever they call it with 8gB Ram. Pi4B with 8gB ram has been produced but stocks are unavailable here in Australia until well into 2022.
LMMS (DAW for Linux) works incredibly well on PiOS with only 175mB used when run. Loading a GM soft synth and midi file brings Ram usage up to 405mB in total.
LMMS can use the built in HDMI sound output but Win 11 ARM64 using PG music products cannot. I have ordered a USB sound card output and suspect this will work. I will then test BIAB real track output. Pi400 has no audio jack but the Pi4 has.

Won't work for me - my CPU is outdated and my MB does not support TPM. That's fine, though. Win 10 is just fine.

Took a while, but my new machine has Windows 11 and that works great with BIAB and everything else. I actually like 11.

I've been wondering how Band-in-a-Box would perform on Windows 11. It's great to hear that it's working smoothly.
