The PlugIn and main Band-in-a-Box program understand the terms "Bluesy", "Held", "Direct Input" and "Natural Arrangement".
The PlugIn and main program understand "Intro" to be bars at the beginning (start) of a song that are not used (do not repeat) anywhere else in a song. "Intro" is NOT automatically labeled by the PlugIn or program. It is understood by how you structure your song.
The PlugIn and main program understand "End" to be the last 2 bars (for MIDI) or last four bars (RealTracks) of the song that do not repeat.
"Simple" means use simple chords; don't use fancy chords. If you put an Emsus711 on the chord chart (I don't think that is a real chord) the PlugIn and program will likely playback a Em.
"Bluesy" means to take a straight 8 or straight 16 even pattern and to add just a little bit of a swing or shuffle feel to the pattern.
"Held" tells the PlugIn and program to get chords from the "Holds" folder instead of the RealTracks folder. On a piano it is the same as playing a chord and holding the sustain pedal down. For a guitar strum a chord and let the chord ring and decay naturally.
"Direct Input" means to use the bare signal from an instrument with no effects added. A guitar or bass is connected direct to the audio interface. No reverb or effects are added to a keyboard or piano.
"Natural Arrangement" means playback chord transitions like a musician would playback the transition. For example a guitar player might make a multi-note run from the #6 to #5 strings while transitioning from a "G" chord to a "C" chord.
Neither the PlugIn nor main program understand "Verse" or "Interlude". If you want the PlugIn or main program to understand those terms you need to make a request in the +++ Band-in-a-Box Wishlist +++ forum section.

Jim Fogle:
Chorus repeat twice, often the second effect is different, it is difficult for me to grasp. I think BIAB is suitable for practicing playing, guitar or piano. But I want to make songs, which is more suitable for using bbvst plug-in Through your explanation, I understand the above meaning. Thank you. I still want to add intro, verse, chorus and interconnect output. I'll leave a message on wishlist right away
OK, I'll remember this setting. However, I don't want to use BIAB for the time being.
I use BB VST combined with other VST instrument plug-ins to make it faster. The BIAB interface also has various settings, which I personally don't like very much. Without BB VST, I don't think I will use band in a box I think BB VST is a breakthrough and an important reason for making band in a box more popular. I don't deny that BIAB is also excellent, but if it is used to make a song, BB VST has greater advantages
