Solitude The same old song is resonating in your head. The pounding headaches, the ringing in your ears and the feeling of being all alone and depressed are overwhelming. Friends try to help but they have no idea what you are going through. The song just gets louder and louder; what can I do? BiaB style = Orchestra 12/8 Tempo = 50 BPM I deleted the piano and guitar tracks Harp - RT 2820 Harp, Rhythm, Classic - I converted it to MIDI via Melodyne (the harp chart was not completely to the end of the song) so I could use a better harp sound for this song - Kontakt - Amadeus orchestra - harp FX - Presonus limiter Bass - Kontakt - Kirt Hunter Virtuoso bass Cellos - bass 8 via plus I added the fifth of each chord - Kontakt - Kirt Hunter Virtuoso cellos Strings - Kontakt - Kirt Hunter Virtuoso strings - FX = Presonus phaser Me- keyboard - Kirt Hunter Lyric strings - Viola Violins - Viola track 8 via - Kirt Hunter Lyric strings - violin Oboe - Kirt Hunter Virtuoso Oboe Choir - Play - Symphonic Choir Me - wind controller French Horn - Kirt Hunter Virtuoso French horn Me - nylon string guitar - FX = Blue Cats Reguitar, Presonus Pro EA and chorus Me - Wind controller - Swam - Flugel Horn Me - keyboard - Kirt Hunter Virtuoso Kettle Drums and Timpani Me - keyboard - cymbals - Kontakt - suspended cymbals A lot of cutting, pasting and additional writing of parts in this song. Breverb orchrestra setting was used on most of the tracks. As always all comments are welcomed.

Wow... Just wow! Did I just say wow? Hi Mario,
Such rich melodic sound! I reminds me of some of the soundtrack music from the old movie Highlander. So soaring at the same time having a somber mood. There are some folks who are a "one man band", but YOU... You are a one man orchestra!
You should hook up with someone who's made a Scotland drone video and use this as the video soundtrack.
I enjoyed the listen, thanks for posting...

The low percussion and other sounds are very effective. The way the piece SETTLES INTO PLACE very emphatically in the first second is impressive.

Sounds like the soundtrack to some of the open world games I play (mainly Fallout). Beautifully done!

Mario,
This is beautiful... Love the lush mix and arrangement. You could build a movie around this track.
Excellent!

Very gloomy piece, fits with the darkening autumn days. I can imagine seeing a big orchestra playing this in a classical concert. Great string programming. I appreciate all the effort you have put to make this ensemble work so flawlessly. I really like the drums and timpani, they add fatality to the already dark mood.

Janne Thanx so much for this wonderful review. Thanx for noticing the drums. They were the hardest thing in this song for me and I'm glad they worked like I intended.

Outstanding performances by you on all instruments!
Wow, that is a LOT of tracks...and an excellent mix. I would not know where to start.
A one man orchestra.
Dark and somber as anticipated from the write but very engaging.
Kudos!
