Mind Trip

You can visualize being in a meditation class, a yoga class, or you are back in the 60's and on LSD.

Warning, I know this is not a genre that everyone likes. The lead lines are not very dominate and blend in with the backing tracks.

This one came about in an unusual way, at least for my workflow. It was a RT song that I took the chart data and just selected the sounds. The only modification I made was to the string track where I deleted a good portion of it. This started out one way but ended up in another universe. BiaB does that to lot with me! I am convinced that with BiaB and a little imagination you can create any genre you want to create.

BiaB style = Circle Ambient Lap Steel
Tempo = 55BPM

I delete the drums.
I kept the lap steel - 3693 guitar, lap steel, background, slow, ambient ev065
Bass - raised two octaves - Synthmaster - BL Celeste MK
Piano - EZ Keys - Dream Machine - MK Dreams
Guitar - AAS String Studio VS-3 - Factory Library - Sreamy State
Strings - AAS - Ultra analog VA-3 - Cinematheque - 22 Medium

Master - Presonus Compression

Note that BiaB generated the entire song. All I did was to select the sounds.

Feel free to comment good or bad.

Nice! My chair is... rocking...

You know, if you mix this sort of thing "binaurally" you can sell it for "brain programming" material (headphones required.) There's even a company selling "iDoses" where you download MP3s for LSD, psilocybin, heroin, alcohol, etc.

Exactly as advertised.

Only... if that was the LSD you used in the '60s, you might want a refund. (Sorry, couldn't resist wink )

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Thanx David.

No LSD for me ever. But now I have EKGs a lot!

Well, I have to say that I really loved it! It is unusual for sure but I always wanted to go back to meditation and I will use your tune for my sessions. Very relaxing, deep and profound!

This is pretty darn good for a BIAB generated piece. The sounds you chose create a pleasant and cosmic aural picture. I like the little drifting off part for the ending.

This, in part, reminds me of Fripp & Eno - no pussyfooting etc. - lovely stuff Mario.

Mario,

Excellent meditation music. You do this SO well. There is a big market for this kind of music - you could easily sell these (with a little bit of self marketing, of course).

Good mix.

Chilled. To the max.

Mind trips are dangerous, you may end up at a place where you can't get out. Bit scary, definitely something that's going inside and not in nature. Very cool space like sounds, nothing tells that BIAB was involved, thus showing the power of our amazing tool and the talented mind smile

Thanx. I saw people on LSD and said "that sure as hell ain't for me"! The only thing I did was to take a couple of puffs on a joint and that almost made me cough up a lung! I looked the part but I was not into drugs ever.
