We always enjoy something different when done well like this.

Your track sources along with the RT's make for really nice, even cinematic, sound.

The arrangement with the tempo changes, etc., along with the mix (sounds good on our monitors) all make for an enjoyable and intriguing production.

Well done!

Thanks Misha. When I listened back to one of my earlier songs where I used the DX, it had a better, "more airy" sound. I'll investigate further to see what settings I used.
Thanks again for your interest.

Nice. I was surprised by several of the instruments. The picked acoustic by NI. I've experimented with midi guitars and could never get them sounding right. The nuances are the PITA for that. I didn't hear what I consider to be an Irish influence in there..... but that's just me and what I think. I was waiting for an Irishman or lady to start singing with a distinct Irish brogue but.... surprise.... it was instrumental.

I still enjoyed it.

Hi, Mike !

This was absolutely wonderful,
how sweet a tune as possible !
I am weak for this kind of music
and everything here is absolutely
superbly made and performed !

To me it sounds like a masterpiece !

Thank you, Mike !

Good to hear someone using tempo changes (though it's a wee bit overdone here IMO.) Tempo change, even very slight, is a natural part of music that software makes it too easy to ignore, but it should be the norm rather than the exception (and I'm lecturing to myself here mostly.)
Thanks for listening Mark, and for your comments.
I'm curious: any particular 1980s TV show?

Thanks oldmuso. Glad you liked the song.
The sound at 1m14sec is the melody (Uilleann pipes and Irish flute) doubled with LABS Synth Strings (free at https://labs.spitfireaudio.com).

There are times when I felt there was "too much going on" - part of that might be that I'm not a big fan of Irish music (or wedding music, for that matter). But, overall, it is a pretty piece...

I'm always impressed by your attention to detail - and the amount of work that obviously goes into your music...

Good mix.

An interesting listen, for sure...

Thanks Floyd. I appreciate you commenting even though you are not a fan of Irish or wedding music smile

I just flipped though a couple of channels, this is the kind of sound I was remembering. Here's "Who's The Boss?" from 1986:

I like Irish folk music so this is very refreshing song. Beautiful chord progression and very cool pipes, I wish to hear more them. The mood certainly has wedding theme, dancing and green fields. Many nice changes.

Hello Mike,

On SoundCloud I wrote 'it must have been e very nice wedding', because this song gave that impression.
I read all compliments on your composition, the melody and tempo changes and that's what i think too.
And, although midi is a bit 'dangerous' to use for piano's and flutes, you managed to let them sound fairly good!

I bet realising the tempo changes in BiaB must have gave some headacke, but it's done very good.

Hans

I'm really glad that I didn't miss this one.

This is a very clever piece of music that was executed perfectly.

Super grooves.

Mike, this is your best to date IMHO.
