Moving

Don't ask about the title. It just came to me when I started so I kept it.

BiaB style = MICHEL -1 - Slow Pop Orchestra
Tempo = 74 BPM

I deleted the piano, bass, and drum tracks.
Piano - a track from ToonTrack's EZ Keys - piano = Electric Grand - Chorus Grand
Drums - MIDI loops from GroovMonkee - drums = Steven Slate's SSD-5
I doubled the BiaB guitar track with both tracks modified to fit the piano track:
Guitar - Kontakt - Kirt Hunter Virtuoso strings
Guitar - Kontakt - Amadeus full string ensemble.
Strings - Kontakt - Solid State Symphony
Me - Kontakt - Passion Flute - via my wind controller

FX - Waves reverb on all but the kick drum
Waves CLA drums on all of the drum tracks.

Ps - I had a problem with my mixer, thus I haven't been around this forum as much as I have in the past. I hope to catch up on listening soon.

Unclear if the pianist is a total beginner or a professional jazz player?

Mario,

That is some nice stuff! Love that elegant, rich strings sound!
I understand about getting a title and building everything around it, because I've done it many times!

Everything sounds wonderful in this! All the backing strongly supports that pretty melody line!

Thanks, Torrey

Mario...very nice piece...it was MOVING emotionally...I loved the piano beginning it reminded me of church (peaceful and calming)...the flute with the breath controller is cool...I really like the build throughout...thanks for posting.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Very cool mood, great work with the strings - they sound very beautiful. The piano and drums support the theme very well. Great chording. Would be a good movie theme, the title and the moving mood reminds me of the Chariots of Fire.

For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

The words that came to mind for us were "sophisticated" and "classy."

Heck we could throw in lovely and elegant also.

As always we enjoyed the product and reading the way you performed it all.

Excellent,

J&B

Lovely piece Mario. I am trying to get better with my synths. They got pretty dusty as the guitar got most of my time. Joined Sphere so have access to some very cool loops and samples. Well done.

Mary,
Cool piece, excellent use of synths & playing passion flute. I think drums are a bit distant, otherwise sounds really good. Thank you for sharing.

Misha.
