Hi, is this the correct forum to post to hire someone to develop a new style for me?

There is not a specific section of the forum to hire someone so, in that respect this section is as good as any.

There is a +++ Styles and RealTracks Wishlist +++ forum section that, should you decide to repost there might get more views and thus more interest and responses.

You may find you can do that yourself. Find a style that is similar to what you want in time signature (3/4 or 4/4) and feel (even or swing). Remove from the tracks the existing style instruments you don't want and add to the tracks the instruments you do want. Finally, save the style under a new name.

If that is what you're wanting to do, ask specific questions about the creating a new style process and myself or another forum member will answer your questions as best we can.

However, I suspect you're not wanting someone to create a new style. My guess is you are wanting someone to create a UserTrack that features an instrument PG Music does not offer. Is that correct?

Does he mean that he wants a style that is not available at this time through Band in a Box styles? Wouldn't the place to request it of Dr. Gannon and the team at BB?

Another interpretation would suggest the OP has a style in mind that might be commercial. That happens all the time in commercial music with what is called "fusion."

For no particular reason, I started watching the documentary on the collaboration of three successful female singers: Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt, and Emmy Lou Harris. It was fascinating. I couldn't put it down. Basically, it was a fusion of three distinct voices, each having been influenced since childhood by individual regional styles. This video would be helpful to anyone working in the areas of fusion and collaboration.

Hello!

You could try doing it yourself if you were open to it! Here is our UserTrack tutorial which you can read here: https://www.pgmusic.com/usertracks1.htm

And here is a video (although a little older) where we show you how to pick your own combo of RealTracks, MIDI, and RealDrums in Band-in-a-Box and save it as a style.: https://youtu.be/a813VaOUNZM

We hope this helps!

Cheers,
Ember

Another option is to go to a site that sells 3rd party styles. There a a couple good ones out there. I like Bob Nortons styles a lot
