They're Coming on Soundcloud They're Coming on YouTube Here's a funky one where Dave once again shines. It's a song about... well nothing really. Just wanted to do a funky one, and they don't have to make sense. All comments and suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Style is _FUNKORG.STY (Funk Organ w/ Pulse Rhythm) RealTracks in style: 2619:Organ, Rhythm Funk Ev 100 RealTracks in style: 2618:Guitar, Electric, Rhythm Funk16thsMutedWahWah Ev16 100 RealTracks in style: 2616:Guitar, Electric, Background FunkSingleNoteWah Ev16 100 RealTracks in song: 3772:Guitar, Electric, Rhythm FunkyGroove60s Ev16 095 RealDrums in Song: JazzFunkMovin^2-HHSnr,RdSnr RealDrums in Song: AmericanaSlowRockFred^3-Snr,Rd RealDrums in Song: TambourineEv16 RealDrums in style:FunkHalfNotePulse: a: Snare, Kickb: Busy Kick, Snare I played bass and sang and Dave Bell (Blue Attitude) played guitar. They're ComingThey're coming when you're sleeping in your cozy bed inside. They're coming here to get you somehow so there's nowhere you can hide. You hear them when you're dreaming in the safety of your bed. They're coming here to mess with all the crazy thoughts within your head. CH: Oh, they're coming so get ready. You've got to be prepared. They're coming so get used to it. Don't just sit there scared. They're coming after you. They're coming next for me. So beware! You stepped inside their secrets. Now they're coming to get paid. They just want to see what you got to give so don't be so afraid. They know you made some money on the making of your move They just want to dip their hands inside the pocket of your grove. CH BR: They're coming after midnight. They're coming through the floor. They're coming after something sweet, then look for something more. And if you stop to ask them why they coming here at all, they'll simply look at you and say, "Pay!" --That's all. SOLO - BR They come disguised as grizzly bears or snakes up in the trees. They're coming for their piece of pie and leaving none for me. I'm afraid I've gotta say that they're coming here today So let's be clear they're coming here, so don't try to run away. CH - END

Marty / Dave, Funky stuff! I was certain it would be about zombies Really, with minor lyric changes it could make a Halloween hit. Excellent composition, bass playing and vocals. David's guitars are great! Crisp mix, listens very well. Thank you for sharing. Misha.

Marty & Dave, Excellent funkadelic feel that makes all those warnings in the lyrics just another reason to dance. A good band that veers into awesome when Dave lets rip; you guys sound great together!

The song may not be about much. But it sure has a class of its own. Excellent bass playing, and Dave's powerful (Michael Schenker style) guitar leads take it to another level.

Hi Marty and Dave,
This is what I wrote on your YouTube channel: Why you call this 'nothing'? A delicious funky song! And I thought it were a bunch of cats you were singing about. The lyrics fit perfectly how these hungry creatures behave. But I love them, and that's the same with your song. Very nice, with a gorgeous solo and dealing with nothing...
And I think I don't add more to it. You both did a great job, but that's what you always do. At least in my opinion.
Nice day, Hans

Crisp mix, listens very well. Thank you for sharing. Misha. Haha. Thanks, Misha. The zombies were in the video --especially right at the very end. Ha! That reminds me of whenever someone approached the stage to ask for a song, I'd always say, "Oh, yeah, good one. We do that toward the end. Stick around." Man, what a fun song to play on! Thanks for the invite, Marty.
Great job on the video also! Thanks, Dave. I realize I often give you songs that as you say are not in your wheelhouse, but the most fun ones are like these when we get to jam a bit.
