Hi all,
I've tried with this instrumental to express the feeling of loneliness.

Chris, a very nice arrangement and it does capture a sense of loneliness.
Great job!

For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

I can't say that this evoked the feeling of loneliness in me, but I thought it was an enjoyable instrumental. smile

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Chris, this is an outstanding instrumental.
Super instrumentation and mix.
Super leads - great job on that

I didn't get a feeling of loneliness. I got a more sad feeling like the kind you get after a break up. But that is only my opinion.

Loved it.

Thanks, Bass Thumper, David and Mario for your comments.
Happily, each one can imagine what he wants listening to a music.
Personnaly, I was seeing loneliness like a heavy burden to carry.

A very melancholy feel. The cello is always good for a mournful mood. Very enjoyable to listen to.

Very nicely done Chris. I agree with you about music being so personal that one can imagine whatever feeling is unique to themselves as they listen. I can see this one going across the spectrum from everything to loneliness to serenity - it's just a really nice piece of music.

Yes, when you describe loneliness as a heavy burden, I hear that. There is sadness and apprehension in that loneliness and it is brought out with the chord changes you wrote. There is also hope and resolution. Really good job of bringing so many emotions out in your music, Chris.

Enjoy whatever happens!
