Song Title: Better Than Elevator Music

Background: This is a country rock instrumental piece I recently wrote that features the piano (I am a classically trained pianist). This is my first BIAB song (But I have been a composer for many years), and I'm really loving the possibilities it provides for creating tracks for piano and other instruments to express my musical ideas! Had a lot of fun creating this and I plan to create a lot more. Hope others enjoy it!

Hi, Seth.

I enjoyed it!

Nice chord changes, but I would have liked a bit more melody.

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Oh, yeah!! Welcome to the forum, Seth. What a wonderful piece to begin your long and rewarding journey of BiaB, Yes, very inspirational and a terrific tool for composition. It's even useful in printing parts for other musicians. Oh, man, such a good feel on that piano. If elevators sounded like this, I'd ride all day. In spite of the crowds.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Seth,

Welcome to the Showcase.

Nice use of BIAB.
Nice work on the piano.
This sounds like a track that could be used to write lyrics to.
Good mix. (Since you are showcasing your piano, I thought it could have been just SLIGHTLY "brighter")

Hope you enjoy being a part of the community.

Welcome to the forum, Seth.

I like your song and your chord choices, sounds very interesting.

I think your song would be a good track for a singer, we have a lot of talent here on the forum, maybe someone could collaborate with you if you want to go in that direction.

Good playing, I enjoyed it. I liked how you shared space with the other instruments and weren't afraid to let guitars take over at certain points. Very nice work.
