Hi all,
Here's a french blues song.
Thierry Fraisse has written the lyrics, he sings and plays trombone.
Denis Rousseau has mixed this song.
The lyrics are a thank you to the hospital staff.

This is a really cool blues with very good lyrics, I hope it translates well for our English speaking friends.
I like the contrast between the (almost) upbeat blues and the sad message of the lyrics.
Well done!
Chapeau!

Chris...

J'avais l'habitude de voler le français plutôt bien, mais j'ai tellement oublié. J'ai dû rechercher les paroles pour en comprendre beaucoup. Je l'aime beaucoup! Une très bonne chanson qui est interprétée très bien.

As I mentioned, I used to speak decent French but have forgotten so much. This is a great song that is very well presented. Thierry has a great voice and plays the trombone very good! I enjoyed the song.

Hi Chris,

Yes this is my kinda music also - lovely song with great chord progression.

Only small suggestion - I would like to hear the Trombone a lot louder - at least as loud as the vocals.

Enjoyed this very much.

Best Regards
Nigel

For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

Hello Chris,

I wrote 'Delicious Blues' on your SoundCloud page, because that is what it is!
I liked it very much. Most of all ta voix. Ce'st tres bien. (most of all your vocals, they are very good).
Well, except from some simple French sentences like "Une baguette s'il vous plait" this was all I can tell you in French.
and that last sentence has nothing to do with your Blues. Oh, maybe eating it while enjoying this song a couple of times.

A nice song, good vocals, but I agree with Nigel that the trombone can be a lot louder.

Have a nice day Chris,
Hans

I agree with Birchwood: I like it very much, and the trombone could come up just a bit.

Love the blues!

I ran the lyrics through Google Translate to have a look at them. Google had a bit of trouble with "Même si la vie se fait salope" and I doubt that the forum software would let me post either translation. grin

I enjoyed this, thanks!

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

Very nice blues band. Good story for important people that we can't live without. Emotional singing. I really like the trombone solo.
