During the intro I expected something Pink Floydish, got something completely different and enjoyed it. Only the snare drum bothers me a bit because of the sound itself and the very static dynamics, but I just read that they will be replaced anyway, so everything will be fine

Cool intro, and then right into the sitar, followed by Scott's guitar. Awesome beginning.
Robert's lyrics are poetry.
Cosmic sound. Pass the nitrous oxide.

Scott and Robert,
Very cool song, it sounds extra terrestrial. Music as well as vocals. Nice beginning and end.
Rob and Anne-Marie Thanks Rob and Anne-Marie. These songs are allot of fun to do. The production was also allot of fun. Playing with different backtracks and sound loops. Really glad you liked the song. Great lyrics, loved the internal rhyme. Reminded me of Space Oddity, but so much better. I'd quote a line but I'd end up quoting the whole thing. Guitar fit well. Great job, gents! Thanks Bob for checking out the song. Really glad you liked it.

Robert and Scott,
Does The Last Resort mean the outer space? The lyrics are a bit difficult for me, so I guess that with the intro sound. The intro sound effects, guitars and vocals are great, and it's a very good reproduction. Enjoyed my listen a lot.
Best regards.

Shigeki,
Its a play on words: a "last resort" in English means a final course of action, used only when all else has failed. In the song it also refers to a hotel/resort in space- the first of these is in the planning stages now (pictured in the Sound Cloud image). If we fail to take the actions needed to save the planet now, will that resort in space be the last?
I hope that helps!
Robert

WOW - what an interesting song, and in the best of ways. The creativity is outstanding. I could seer this in a space/terrestrial-oriented movie. Everything shines here. You pushed all the buttons 0- and then found a few more to push.
Enjoyed this a lot. It was exciting, introspective, ambiently spatial, had elements of tension, and each line of lyric left me waiting anxiously for the next. I loved the flange on the guitar!
Really cool! A big tip of the hat to all involved - ya did good!

Great intro
I liked the vocal and mix
I really liked your instrumentation .... brilliant!
Unclear if the pianist is a total beginner or a professional jazz player?

Scott & Robert. Very interesting rendition of Emerald. So much cool stuff is happening on the background. Sitar was a good choice and all these cool spaceship fx add another dimension. Good vocals and lyrics to get lost in (in a good way) Scott's signature guitar sound. Liked it and thank you for sharing.
Misha.

Scott/Robert, Out-of-this-world lyric! Good vocal. Cool tracks. Very nice backing. Cool sounds. Nice guitar work, Scott. Good mix. fj Thanks Floyd. Your comments are very much appreciated. Thanks for the comments on the mix. I have been working very hard on this part of my music skills. Very cool lyrics! Good vocals, guitar, and a great sounding track.
Nicely done you two, I'm a fan. Thanks Dave Really glad you liked the song. Clever intro and outro. Good and interesting write, although I have to confess I wasn't familiar with Kiribati. Clever play on words with the title as well. And, of course, excellent vocal and guitar work! Thanks David for checking out the song. Really glad liked it. Mind candy. Where am I? Good one, Scott.
Vic Thanks Vic. Really love the mind candy quote. For sure there is bundles of mind candy in Roberts lyrics. Stories within stories. Very cool to be a part of.

Otherworldly! Cool intro and outro y’all. When Scott’s guitar first appeared I (Janice) was immediately seeing beautiful green fields but then very quickly moved into the emerald skies of the beyond! Thought provoking lyric and ethereal vocals go really well with the dreamy guitar and the sitar. We look forward to the third installment of the space trilogy! J&B

Scott and Robert....that was a trip...no literally a musical trip to space...really nice production...the guitar work was "out of this world" and the music "stellar"...I love songs that are interesting and ethereal...really like the sitar in the musical intro...neat project...well done guys! Thanks Dan for the awesome comments. They are very much appreciated.
Thank you, Alexander. Glad you liked the song
[quote=Bass Thumper]I agree with comments above, a little synth-space sounds would be icing on this cake, David Bowie style? Very well done guys, a most enjoyable adventure and highly creative.
This got me thinking that next on the list for us to destroy/consume (after Earth) is the moon, then Mars. Will we ever learn?
Thanks BT for checking out the song. I play my synths sporadically. Great idea for the song. I think their maybe more space adventures coming in the future. Glad you liked the song.
