This is a song I wrote in the late 90s, and is a real barn burner.

https://on.soundcloud.com/Wv6Ni

Washed, Sanctified, and Justified.

Well, I've been washed, sanctified, and Justified,
in the precious name of our Lord,
the holy ghost fills me from my head to my toes,
who could ask for more.

Have you been fully baptized in Jesus Name,
for the remission of your sins,
Then as the holy ghost fills your soul,
You'll have such peace within.

Well, I've been washed, sanctified, and Justified,
in the precious name of our Lord,
the holy ghost fills me from my head to my toes,
who could ask for more.

Well Jesus said to his disciple, I'll prepare a place for thee,
among the streets of gold and Crystal seas,
When Gabriel blows that trumpet, we'll be flying so high,
to bow at the master's feet.

Well, I've been washed, sanctified, and Justified,
in the precious name of our Lord,
the holy ghost fills me from my head to my toes,
who could ask for more

Well, I've been washed, sanctified, and Justified,
in the precious name of our Lord,
the holy ghost fills me from my head to my toes,
who could ask for more

The holy ghost fills me from my head to my feet,
who could ask for more.
who could ask for more.

Sounds good Ronnie.

I like the groove and instrumentation a lot.

FWIW - I did have a hard time hearing and understanding the vocal. Maybe a little less bass and a tad more volume would help. That is just my opinion and others may or may not agree with me.

BUT I loved those lyrics!

I hope no barns were burned during this recording grin

Today I bought a doughnut without the sprinkles. Diets are hard!

Good ol' rocking country gospel! Loved it Ronnie. Sure wish you'd write down the Biab tracks you're using - I may want to steal some sometime!

Brad, I would, but I created it on a different computer which bit the dust, so I don't have the BIAB files that I used on the track!!

Hi Ronnie,

Yeah this is a real toe tapper.

Good harmonies in the choruses.

Only two small suggestions:
- the first guitar break is way down in volume - you can see the dip in the waveform.
- I would take the lap steel out of the sung verse after the lead breaks - it is masking your vocals.

Excellent work.

Merry Xmas
Nigel

Good rollicking gospel for a Sunday morning wake up call!

We did a few of those “barn burner” speeds with our bluegrass band and remember the joy of successfully performing them. smile

Enjoyed it!

I could see that in the hands of one of the gospel quartets. There's a bunch of them on You Tube.
