Hi Misha,

Thanks for your comments - yes those two guitars do sit nicely together. The reverb on the left panned guitar was Real Track was a bit of a handful.

Best Regards
Nigel

Man, I would've loved your shows, Nigel. Always such good material with an engaging presentation. Excellent vocal and band choice. You captured a great R&B feel. It's one of those songs that would come on the radio and I'd keep waiting for it to come around in rotation. So nice to be able to simply push Play again.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Nigel,

Very cool recording . . . such an engaging groove and vibe to this one. Yeah, a nice homage to the late 50's sound. I can hear what ray means by saying it reminds him of a tune Holly would have written. The vocal is stellar and the production spot on. Excellent work!

All my best to you,

Deej

As usual, top flight production and singing. You've to a very easy-going vocal that's expressive and fun to listen to. It makes an already solid song that much better.

I'm going to disagree with ray - I though the guitar solo fit right in.

No complaints here! smile

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

As you say, definite Ry Cooder feel to this. Beautiful sound and mix. Thanks for sharing this, it's something for me to aim towards, quality-wise

Hey Nigel,
You are known for top shelf and this is no exception.

Do I hear a bit of "Stand by Me" in this ?

Great job.

For me there’s no better place in the band than to have one leg in the harmony world and the other in the percussive. Thank you Paul Tutmarc and Leo Fender.

Enjoyable composition. I, too, think the guitar fits well into the style of the song. Good, passionate vocal.

Hi Greg,

Thanks for your generous comments.

Yes I agree the two guitars do work very nicely together. Only challenge is the large reverb on the left hand guitar.

Best Regards
Nigel
