Hej!
Jeg har genoptaget arbejdet med musiksoftware efter en lang pause … Det foregår på en Mac, og det er programmerne Finale, Logic og BIAB. Programmerne har fået ganske store opdateringer de sidste 15 år ;o)
Jeg var aldrig rigtig skrap til BIAB den gang, men sidder nu og kradser i overfladen, og det er spændende! Vil gerne forsøge at lave backing Tracks til eget og andres brug. Mit problem lige nu er at jeg ikke lykkes med at åbne midifiler i BIAB, alle instrumenter lægger sig i eet spor, og nogen gange lægger midifiler sig oven i opstartsfilen i C dur.
Det er ikke lykkedes mig ved søgninger Google/YouTube at finde brugbare svar. Håber at der er nogen herinde der kan hjælpe, eller linke til ressourcer.

….. glemte at skrive at midifilen jeg arbejder med åbner fint med alle instrumenter/spor i Finale og Logic, så det er altså ikke filen der er noget galt med.

Hvis du blot vælger Filer > Åbn så tror jeg du får alle spor med ind.
Hvis du vælger Import > Melodi fra Midi eller > import solistspor fra Midi, så får du nok kun ét spor ind.
Men hvad er det, du vil, kan man også spørge. Giver det mening at importere alle spor ind i et program som Band-in-a-Box?

Hej Heine, Tak for hurtigt svar!
Jeg vil gerne importere en midifil - lige nu Johnny Be Goode - da jeg har en elev der gerne vil spille leadguitaren. Ideen er så at kunne manipulere filen mht. tempo og evt. taktart, og så lave et par udgaver så han kan bruge dem som backing Tracks. Altså udgaver med og uden solostemmen. Og med alle spor fra midifilen, virker i Logic men vil helst bruge BIAB til midi. Jeg har fundet lidt vejledninger på Google og YouTube, men får det ikke til at virke, måske fordi jeg er på Mac?

Det lyder ikke som om, du vil bruge Band-in-a-Box' evne til at lave et arrangement selv. Det lyder mere som om, du blot vil redigere i midi, og så tror jeg det er bedre at bruge et andet program som fx. Logic.
Men jeg er ikke bruger af Band-in-a-Box, så jeg kan misforstå noget.
Håber nogle andre kan hjælpe her - måske Peder?

Jeg er enig med Heine. Det giver ingen mening at manipulere midispor i Biab. I Windows udgaven kan det lade sig gøre, og giver ofte god mening, men foretag dine justeringer i Logic, - det er meget lettere.
