Nothing wrong with a simply love song (though I’m not sure I’d call this simple by any means). The chord progression is engaging . . . and you really have become a master of the vocaloids. The chorus is really compelling. Excellent mix and production. Nothing not to like here—beautifully done!
All my best to you,
Deej

There’s nothing wrong with a simple song and this is very enjoyable.
The girls are such a good team and are so convincing in their pleading. We are both quite sensitive in hearing artifacts in "over" processed human vocals and many synths but, man, this one, actually all, of yours is outstanding. Kudos!
The nice open mix excellent and the dynamics are great.
Cool to the max!

Nothing wrong with a simple love song in my book Nice job on the write, and your vocalist sounds great! Love the way she takes a deep breath before she starts singing, very slick. Top notch production as always, and a good song. Enjoyed!

Hi, BD. I'm already on record for loving this song. Hey, I love the band pic, too. You are so darn good with those synth voices. You make them come alive so well. The intelligence behind the artificial. "Give me one more verse" because this song is way too much fun to end in time to qualify for AM play. Thanks again for the backstage pass.

Hey,
A cool pop song here.
Very techno.
You seem to have discovered a template that works well for you.

Brian, you have got those synths down so well that this actually sounds like a human throughout the entire song. You are the master of those non-human girls!
I liked everything about this.
Unclear if the pianist is a total beginner or a professional jazz player?

The mix is excellent, the song is melodic, the backing just what it needs to be. Love the vocals. My only nit is that you might want to soften some of the stop consonants, like the /t/ in "but" to "bud". I love a well-articulated song where I can understand all the vocals, but it feels just a touch over-articulated at points. Excellent work!

B.D., Very good production. A bit of Radiohead flavor (which is a good thing), Those robo girls sing very well. Clear mix & easy listen. Thank you for sharing.
Misha. Radiohead? I'll take that I guess it's the G B C Cm progression that I use in some places. You have good ears. Thanks for listening and your comment, Misha.

Nicely done. I always get an ABBA vibe when I listen to your stuff. Good job. I'll also take Abba any day. Their harmonic singing was a big influence for me. Thanks BT for listening and your comment. Much appreciated!

Wow, another top level pop song, your writing gets better all the time. Very good melody and the chorus is really strong. I like the strong contrast between the verse and the chorus, excellent use of dynamics. Great selection of instruments and their introduction at the right times. And then the vocals... doesn't sound like Solaria is singing, but like your trademark vocalist, very good work and those backing vocals support perfectly, what is your harmony secret? Thanks Janne, glad you like it and that I'm going in the right direction contrast-wise. As for the harmonies, there's no secret. When the lyrics and main vocals are done, I just listen to the song and sing along. They're just there. I was thinking of Pink when listening to this song, she has similar power ballads. I don't know whether Solaria could be pushed even further to reach Pink like powerful interpretation. Ah, Pink. Love her. There are few (real) singers as strong as her, so I think it's still out of reach for us for quite a while. But I'm already very happy with what we have now

Good work. The synth voices are terrific...the long in draw of breath before the 1st syllable is a very clever ploy. Buy a Behringer Sustainer - it's a knock off eBow and reasonably cheap. Thanks Ray. I usually sing along with my songs, and whenever I have to breathe, the girls have to, too. You basically listen to my breathing pattern Here in Europeland the "Behringer Sustainer" is an effect pedal, I didn't find anything EBow-like on their site. But I'll see if I can find a used EBow somewhere. Anyway, thank you for your suggestion. Mucho appreciated!

A very, very impressing song, Brian! The vocals are so beautiful... You easily can forget they are artificial. I hear the breathing between the words. Wonderful. I think I have to take lessons from you how to achieve this. And let me not forget to mention the wonderful composition itself. It's great. I thought 'Silent cry' was your best, but you keep making these wonderful songs. I love to listen to them,
Hans Thanks Hans for listening and your nice comment. If you have any questions about how I do some things, I live just a PM away from you

J&B Thanks for your feedback, J&B, especially on the vocal sound. Fun side note: I think I'm the dying dinosaur in the music industry. I do everything I can to remove artifacts from synthetic voices to make them sound more human, while the rest of the world (see Spotify) adds artifacts to (often) perfectly good human voices to make them sound synthetic

Thanks Marty I decided that it's better to make songs that are too short that leave people wanting more than to bore them to death with a song that's too long

I think that breathing sounds, much like guitar noises on an acoustic guitar, make a song sound much more authentic.
